Actisavvyruns on children's information — registrations, medical notes, photos of teams. That's a responsibility we don't take lightly. Here's exactly how we keep families safe and their data protected.
Youth safety first
- ✓Coaches, trainers, and officials who work with children are gated on background-check (Live Scan / SafeSport) clearance — an uncleared adult can't be given a team or see a child's file.
- ✓Evaluations can be run with blind ID codes (e.g. D125) instead of names, so kids are scored fairly, not by reputation.
- ✓Parents and guardians stay in control of their children's information at every step.
Security built in
- ✓Everything travels over encrypted HTTPS, and data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure.
- ✓Passwords are never stored in readable form — only a salted, heavily-iterated one-way hash.
- ✓Sign-in tokens are signed and HTTP-only; signing out revokes them everywhere, and repeated failed logins are throttled.
- ✓We don't store payment card numbers — card and bank payments are handled by a PCI-compliant processor.
Your program, walled off
- ✓Each city, league, or club is strictly isolated — one organization can never read another organization's families.
- ✓Inside a program, least-privilege access means sensitive details (like medical or allergy notes) are visible only to a child's guardians and the specific staff who need them.
Privacy by design
- ✓We collect only what a program needs to run — nothing more.
- ✓We never sell your data and never use it for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- ✓We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in — no ad trackers.
Compliance & your rights
- ✓Built around U.S. children's privacy law (COPPA): guardian-led registration, data minimization, and parental review, correction, and deletion rights.
- ✓California residents have full CCPA/CPRA rights — know, delete, correct, and non-discrimination — and we honor the minors' "Eraser" law.
- ✓If a data breach affecting your information ever occurred, we would notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Honest by default
- ✓When a payment is owed, we show the real amount and say plainly that no card has been charged — we never fake a receipt.
- ✓When a message can't be delivered, we tell you — we don't pretend it was sent.
